Article of the Day………ok so i don’t have a piece of writing every day, but if i get an opportunity I will post articles that I find fascinating. Lucky enough here’s one of these articles that I read and needed to share. There will come a time when you must find a way to keep in touch with a group of people that are spread out in various directions. These types of radios can be used for all different things and can genuinely help when you need to know where an individual is.
Yearly, all the men in our family go on a fishing trip to Lake Champlain. Since we normally have about 8 to 10 boats on the water so everyone can fish, it is difficult to keep track of everyone as Lake Champlain is huge. Getting everyone to come in for lunch or dinner was just about impossible because of the size of the lake and since people didn’t like brining their cellular phones in the boats, (that’s another story). We would actually row around the lake, usually for hours, trying to find everyone and tell them it is time to eat.
Then a few years ago, I bought two sets of these radios and put them in 4 boats. And it was one of the greatest things I ever did. These radios have a range of 23 miles and no individual was ever out of touch with any of the boats. As a result, after trying them out, the succeeding year I made certain we had a radio for each boat. This was a really smart thing as the next year my uncle’s boat broke down and wouldn’t start and the fact that he was about 3 miles away from the camp meant that we would have had a difficult time searching for him. My uncle notified us on the two-way radio and the first thing he did was thank me for purchasing the radios and then told me that his boat wouldn’t start. So we went out and towed him and his boat back to the house. Without the radios he would have had to use a single oar to get his sort of huge bass boat back to camp.
These two-way radios have always worked. In addition, you don’t have to worry about replacing the batteries in these radios all the time as they are rechargeable and come with a mounting station. One more fantastic feature of these Motorola radios is that they come equipped with a weather receiver so you can keep up with the weather when you’re outdoors.
And the uses of these radios are almost boundless. On a trip to Disney, my mom took the two-way radios with her since she was taking 6 of the grandkids on the trip with her. She thought that it would be a good idea to make certain all of the grandkids had a two-way radio attached to them just in case someone got lost. While no one got lost, that was actually a great idea she had.
SeveralA few of my family members even use them when they are going hunting in a large group to let others know when they are leaving. You have no idea what a time saver this can be unless you have ever been walking around the woods trying to locate someone you can’t find, merely because they got cold and decided to go home.
Virtually everyone in my family went out and got a headset for the Motorola radio they use so when we are hunting we can keep things quiet. With 121 privacy codes and 22 different channels that can be utilized, there’s no need to worry about other two-way radios interfering.
These two-way radios are really low-cost at $39.95 for a pair when bought through Amazon.com. And I am sure that you will be able to find more uses for the two-way radios than what we use them for.

Trust with these headphones the noise will stay out, you won’t hear a peep if you don’t want to, in fact you’ll hear every little detail that was laid down in the studio by the engineers and recording artists including undistorted and clean highs. The only problem with the headphones would be crossing the street or sitting on a bus unable to hear your surroundings, yes they’re just that good.
Mixing music comes really easy for me because I went to school to learn the techniques and basically taught myself the other need to know basics of setting up, using and owning a home recording studio. Inexperienced buyers have to be really careful when shopping whether online or in-stores for any equipment because the fact that you might purchase the most expensive equipment doesn’t always mean that it’s actually the best in quality or sound.
I was duped last year purchasing speakers from the eBay website and again in the Best Buy store because I was really much worried about the price and forgetful of the quality even though these are things that I have been trained to take notice of. Beats Studio by Dr.
Dre-Hi Def. Noise-Cancelling-Over-Ear Headphones by Monster are highly recommended and every smart producer is obtaining them. I would definitely lend you mines so you could see for yourself, of course only if you lived next door from me or down the block. They sell out so quickly but you’re usually able to catch them at a deal online or at Best Buy.
